Creamy Skillet Zoodles

This season, look forward to this recipe that features Zucchini, these are a great way to include fresh vegetables that are a great in-season choice.

Here is a delicious one-pan recipe that utilizes fresh zucchini noodles and mushrooms. Adding sausage and cream to the crisp zoodles, led to an incredible and fast skillet dinner. You will love how the flavorful sausage simmered in the delicious juices of zucchini and mushrooms.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. Sage Sausage
  • 6 Zucchinis, spiralized
  • Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Sage, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup Goat Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat the sausage until fully cooked. Add the zucchini, olive oil, garlic, sage and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms and zucchinis are soft.
  2. Add the heavy cream and goat cheese. Cook for ten minutes on medium heat. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
