Ingredients
For the Cucumber Yogurt Sauce
- 1 cucumber
- 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
For the Burgers
- 1 pound ground lamb
- 1 cup crumbled feta
- ½ cup finely minced red onion
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 6 gluten-free hamburger buns
Directions
- To make the cucumber yogurt sauce, grate the cucumber into bowl and then drain out all of the liquid. Place shredded pieces into a larger mixing bowl and mix in the Greek yogurt, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Preheat grill to high heat. To make the burgers, mix together ground turkey, crumbled feta, red onion, salt and pepper. Form the mixture into 6 equally sized patties.
- Grill the burgers for 4 to 6 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Serve on gluten-free hamburger buns.
