- 1 pound fresh cranberries, rinsed and patted dry
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 cup chopped orange
- 1½ cups sugar
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- In a medium-sized pot set over medium heat, combine the cranberries, orange zest, orange pieces, sugar and water. Bring the mixture to boil, then reduce heat to medium-low.
- Add in the cinnamon and nutmeg and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 12 minutes Cool completely and then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
