Summer is in full swing. Independence Day, family vacations and get togethers with friends is a big part of summer relaxing time. Clearly, we’re in the wonderful season of summer. The time of year when fun, food, fireflies, favorite swimming holes, and long sunny days all combine to make you feel like you’ve been given a fabulous gift. It is also a season where many of us are starting to harvest our backyard garden harvest.

To celebrate summer and our independence stand on July 4th, 1776, we want the tastiest and prettiest gluten-free recipes! And of course, some of those recipes will also bear the patriotic colors of red, white, and blue. What we want to avoid is being tied to the kitchen. We all want to share time in the sun with friends and family. Here are a few ideas for summer eats to share in the heat.

Here are a few packaged foods that are easy to share.

Gluten-free Basket

Finding gluten-free food that’s picnic-friendly is easy. Toss these items and the produce of your choice together for an oh-so-good meal.
